Pastor Lonnie Trujillo

Dear Brothers and Sisters of Horizon,

I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, and have lived here all of my life.  After setting my own plans and goals concerning money, marriage, and career, God intervened and in 1980, I committed my life to the Lord.  While attending Calvary Chapel Denver, God spoke to my heart about becoming a pastor. After thirteen years of ministry training, God opened the door for me to be on staff at the church.  In 2000, God sent us out and Legacy Christian Fellowship was born.

I have been married to my wife, Dona, since September 1, 1979. We have seven amazing children: Rebecca; Erica and her husband Dan; Jessica and her husband J.R.; Ben and his wife Jenny; and two wonderful grandchildren, Macy and Asher.  

Pastor Dave and I have been friends since 2000; serving together on our church boards, traveling to Israel, and attending numerous ministry conferences and events together. It is my privilege and honor to serve the body at Horizon Christian Fellowship and to carry on the work my brother, Dave,  began in Littleton.
