Jeda McKenney

Associate Pastor -

 

Associate Pastor since April 2004, Jeda McKenney has been blessed by God's gracious provision as he oversees the Children's Ministry, Servant teams, Family Counseling and teaching of the Word. His wife, Amy McKenney, is the church's part time Administrative Assistant; they serve and fellowship at Horizon with their three daughters, Tess, Madeline and Phoebe.

Jordan Emerson

Associate Pastor -

 

Jordan is a Colorado native; he graduated from Englewood High School. In 2003, Jordan received the gift that God has given the World in Jesus Christ and began serving in the Junior High ministry. He started attending Horizon Christian Fellowship in the spring of 2009 where he met his wife, Margarita. They were married in February 2010. "God has given me a great love for His Word, a desire to grow in it by applying it, and the privilege to teach it as well. I am honored to serve at Horizon where the Word is treated with the highest regard." Jordan is currently living in Littleton with his wife, Margarita, and two children, Dylan and Da’sha.

DeAnn Noyes

Children's Ministry Director -

 

DeAnn has been attending Horizon for seven years; serving in the Children’s Ministry for five years. The Lord has given her a heart to help other adults determine their calling to serve children and to equip them to serve the Lord effectively within that calling. DeAnn also desires to provide edifying programming for the children at Horizon that will enable them to grow in the Lord and eventually set their hope in Him. The Lord has used her service in the Children’s Ministry to sanctify DeAnn and draw her closer to Him. She sees it as a great blessing for the Lord to do the same for other servants as well! (Deuteronomy 13:12-13) DeAnn and her husband, Chris, have three wonderful daughters.

Roger and Shea Goodwin

High School Ministry Leaders -

 

Roger and Shea grew up in Littleton; Roger graduating from Littleton High School in 2002 and Shea graduating from Heritage High School in 2000. They started attending Horizon Christian Fellowship in 2006 but did not know each other, or meet, until the summer of 2008. They have been inseparable ever since. They began serving in the High School Ministry that summer and are blessed to be a part of the spiritual development of the wonderful students that attend. They desire to keep Christ as the center of their growing family and continue to serve Him through the guiding of the Holy Spirit.

Amy McKenney

Administrative Assistant -

 

Amy has been at Horizon Christian Fellowship since 1998, the same year she gave her life to the Lord. Since 2007, Amy has been serving as Church Administrator. She and Jeda (Associate Pastor of Horizon) have three beautiful daughters; Tess, Madeline and Phoebe. As a family, they are living in, serving, and reaching out to the Littleton community with the good news of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 4:12) as God has called them to do.

Roger Taylor

Most Excellent Way Director -

 

Roger came to know Jesus in November 1999, at Horizon Christian Fellowship. Roger, his wife Gena, brother Byron, and son Gage live in Littleton and are a part of the Horizon family. Roger and Gena felt called to serve those suffering from the pain of addiction. In November 2004, they participated in starting the Most Excellent Way, an addiction recovery group for both the addicted and their families. Roger now serves as the director of this ministry and is blessed every day, serving as God has called him. "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Roger has dedicated his retirement years to helping in the ministry. After more than forty years working in the airline industry, he is greatly blessed to be a working member of the church body, giving all glory to God.

Mike and Jenna Touhey

Awana Leaders -

Having served in Children's Ministry for 15 years, the Touheys have been leading AWANA for the past 3 years at Horizon. Their heart's desire is to make a positive impact on the children during the time they are at the club, giving every member the opportunity to hear the gospel and have a fun time in the process. Mike and Jenna have been married for 18 years and have 5 children of their own.

Isaac and Anna Jonsgaard

Eklektos - Young Adult Ministry -

 

Isaac and Anna met while attending Bible College in Jerusalem, Israel. They got married in July 2010 and settled in Aurora, Colorado. The couple was blessed with the birth of their daughter, Adalie, on August 29, 2011.  Their heart's desire is to see young adults both surrender their lives to the Lord and grow in their relationship with God. And so began Eklektos, Horizon’s Young Adults Group, which Isaac and Anna started in the summer of 2011.
