Pastor Dave Love
Pastor Dave grew up in San Diego, California where after living on the beaches there and pursuing his view of success as an Insurance and Security Agent, God got his attention through a series of life changing events. Dave rededicated his life to the Lord and surrendered to the Person of Jesus Christ in April of 1988. After attending Horizon Christian fellowship in San Diego in those following months, God really spoke to Dave that he needed to get involved and begin to serve in the body of Christ. Dave didn’t know where he was supposed to serve so he prayed that God would show him the need at his church. The next Sunday there was a call from the pulpit for youth workers in the High School ministry. Dave worked and served in youth ministry for the next 3 years and saw the youth group grow from 30 kids to over 500 kids in that time. It was after working with the youth part time for the first year that God really spoke to him that he was being called into full time youth ministry. Dave quit his job as a security agent and came on staff full time in September of 1989. It was as Dave was serving in youth ministry that he met his beautiful bride Mindi; And a year later they were married on January 19th, 1991. It was in that same year that Dave became an intern pastor of Horizon and then an associate pastor serving in that capacity for the next 2 years overseeing the college and career ministries at Horizon Christian Fellowship in San Diego. The call to Denver occurred in the Spring of 1993. By May of 1994, Dave and his wife Mindi, and at that time one year old daughter Katie, moved to Denver Colorado to start a church plant. The church started out as a mid week bible study of 10 people and God blessed and has grown the church to where we are today doing multiple services on Sundays and many other ministries throughout the week. Since being in Denver God has continued to bless Dave and Mindi’s family. In addition to daughter Katie, they also have been blessed with a daughter Mollie, a son Joshua and another daughter Jaynie. Pastor Dave and his family look forward to many more years of service here in the Littleton area and are thankful for God's faithfulness and provision throughout the years.

"I am very blessed to be able to Pastor and serve this body of believers.  It has once been said of our fellowship that we are a cast of characters.  As I thought of that for a moment I realized that I couldn’t think of a better compliment for a body of believers because when you think about it that is probably the best description of the disciples that Jesus had surrounding Him.  Yes, we are a cast of characters that come from all different walks of life that come together in our worship of Jesus Christ.  It is my desire that we at Horizon Christian Fellowship would be the best loved and best fed sheep around and that we would take what God has given us and then give that to the world."
